Instructions For Meditations


DO NOT USE THIS PROGRAM WHILE OPERATING A MOVING VEHICLE OR WHILE DOING OTHER THINGS, because the meditation will generate a dreamy state of consciousness.

1. Make yourself comfortable lying down or sitting up.

2. Assure that you won’t be interrupted.

3. Take two or three minutes to unwind by breathing deeply.

4. Turn on the player, close your eyes and follow the instructions. Vividly imagine the situations described.

5. If for any reason you need to awaken before the session is complete, verbally count yourself up from one to five and say the words, "Wide awake."

Your body will feel relaxed, your mind may or may not feel dreamy, but you’ll remain aware of your surroundings, and all the while you’ll be mentally accepting any suggestions that are part of the program. The better you are able to imagine, the more effective the session will be.

The more you work with altered-state programming, the faster you can expect to experience changes. It usually takes three weeks of daily use for the programming to saturate your mind and attain your natural depth.




Instructions For Sleep Programming


Sleep Programming is as powerful as hypnosis for programming your mind with suggestions that generate results. And all you have to do is listen to the tape as you go to sleep. (Keep a pen and paper by your bed to record your experiences immediately upon awakening.)

As you relax and drift into first-stage sleep, the cycle-per-second activity of your brain slows down to alpha. The second level of theta precedes deep delta sleep. Alpha and theta are the levels accessed for hypnosis programming. So suggestions delivered at these mental levels are very effective.

ALL YOU HAVE TO DO IS LISTEN TO THE PROGRAM AS YOU GO TO SLEEP

The programs begin with Tara Sutphen directing a relaxation and visualization, followed by nearly 2,000 words of paced and repeated suggestions, phrased for acceptance by all levels of your mind. The words fade away at the end of the program, directing you to sleep soundly through the night and to awaken refreshed, at peace with yourself, and inspired to begin a new day.

Never use any altered-state program in a moving auto or while doing other things, because each session is structured to generate a dreamy state of consciousness, and in the case of sleep programming, deep delta-level sleep.
